John McCain and Sarah Palin: Not Quite Dancing with the Stars Material
Can we just text them off the campaign right now?

Chuck Todd was in the room when the Mcainiac and Palindrone did their one-two step interview with Brian Williams last night. And not to mince words, the NBC News Political Director was a little underwhelmed: "I couldn't see chemistry between John McCain and Sarah Palin. I felt as if we grabbed two people and said 'here, sit next to each other, we are going to conduct an interview.' They are not comfortable with each other yet."

No chemistry between old man and frigid beauty queen? You don't say:

(Interview part starts at 1:30) Todd speculates that the stiff tension in the room is caused by McCain already knowing that he's lost, and blaming his VP choice for the drop in voter confidence.

Yeop. Either his VP choice, or the hateful way he's been running his campaign, or the numerous health problems he refuses to disclose, or maybe just his creepy, reptilian grin. Really, there are any number of excuses John McCain and the GOP can use to explain Obama's (knock on wood) victory, the important part is that they get the chance to use them.

Is he blaming himself for the choice or is he blaming her for not rising to the occasion? it'd better be the former… but in either case, he's an ass.

He acts like such a grumpy old man, there isn't an ounce of likability to either of these people. She is a vapid excuse for a woman (who uses the word ALSO way too much…and he always looks like he's constipated. After Obama is elected on Nov. 4th, she can go back to shooting moose and he can get back on his Metamucil schedule and all will be right with the world!

I think that is was more worth my time to watch DWTS this week than this interview. I almost want to say that Cloris would be a better VP than Sarah Palin. Almost.

It would be nice if McCain would let Palin speak on her own once in a while.

Neither are convincing that they want the job. Perhaps because they aren't convinced themselves!
Anyone can see that they'd rather be doing something else.
