After all the blind items about a "publicity seeking reality starlet" and a "talentless reality hanger on" who will "do anything for press," The Hills actors Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt finally went ahead and exchanged vows, promising to care for each other in sickness and in health, till camera crews stop following their every move. The pair "eloped" (a term that usually signifies they ran off together so nobody could follow them, but doesn't apply here) to have a "secret ceremony" at a resort in Cabos San Lucas, Mexico — a resort that, during last night's Extra report, got some lovely B-roll footage straight out of their press kit. So secret was the ceremony, though, that somehow Us Weekly snuck its cameras inside! Or rather, the cameras of Montag-Spencer's official documentarians Pacific Coast News. But here's the one thing we don't understand: Why would Mr. Pratt and Ms. Spencer would wed in time for the Thanksgiving issue of Us Weekly, which will likely be one of its least read issues of the year? Poor party planning.
