Chuck Todd is Royally Screwed Over By MSNBC/NBC, Yet Again

First there were the murmuring that Tim Russert's old spot on Meet the Press was going to clown college graduate David Gregory, instead of the literally tens of people more qualified for the position, including NBC political director and ginger-haired genius Chuck Todd. Then, to add insult to the injury, people started to imply that it was a besmirched Todd that leaked the Gregory nomination to the press (we suspect it was Gregory himself, in a bid for leverage).

Now, Chuck had his third strike-out at the peacock and it's cable subsidiary, as David Shuster just took the coveted 16000 Pennsylvania Avenue beat that Gregory formerly occupied on MSNBC, and was rumored to be Todd's consolation prize for losing Press.

Come on Zucker and Griffin, what do you have against our boy Chuck? Is he not blow-hardy enough for MS/NBC?

Zucker is a mega douche.
Chuckie T deserved that spot.
David G. is also a mega douche and totally sucks. At least we still have Mr. Schieffer for now (albiet at a different network).

I think saddling Chuck Todd with the cursed 6 PM timeslot might be a bigger douching than anything else - not to mention that "1600" is quite possibly the lamest show on TV news. I say bring back Tucker!

Perhaps they reflected on such cogent analysis as this morning's on "Today," regarding the throwing-shoes-at-Bush incident: "He probably didn't want something like that to happen." Do tell!

Sad, but true - he's too ugly to be on TV on a regular basis. People can accept his "wonkiness" but he's unbearable to look at!

I watched Meet the Press Sunday and thought Gregory did ok. Somehow, his aggressive questioning irritated me. Unlike Russert, he's missing that 'something'.

As for Chuckie T,"1600" is not for him. MSNBC better find something for him or they'll lose a very smart, astute, and likable "Political Director".

It's that ass-stache he needs to shave off. It's bothered me since the primaries. C'mon Chuckie, the "goats" are only suitable at the state fair. Not on TV.

I agree wholeheartedly with No. 6. He needs to
shave that mess from around his mouth and further, if I wanted to see another conservation/republican, I'd tune to Fox.

you continually screw yourselves. you have someone like chuck and you pass him up along with his fans which are in plenty. you people really don't want number 1, do you. he would have been perfect for russert's job. he's got that "something". gregory does not. i was an avid fan of tim russert and the two of them have always helped so much to understand some of the other news deliveries.
