I've heard blind people talk about seeing things, in a figurative sense, without having to add "except me, because I can't actually see." I think people get that it was figurative.

Dude, Russian Roulette is stupid. It was stupid of brother Ruffalo to play it. It's unfortunate that he died, but if he's not up for a Darwin Award, he should be.
