Oh hellz yeah, 30 Rock. Not willing to let Fox News and Fox Business rain on MSNBC and CNBC's growing ratings success with a couple of nasty holiday cards, General Electric's cable networks are finally throwing down with the big boys. St. Nick — or MSNBC spokesman Jeremy Gaines — is back, and he's droppin' elbows.

A "CNBC spokesman" we assume to be Gaines tells the Post: "As the lowest rated cable network among all rated cable networks, if Fox 'Business' News sends a card to every viewer, advertiser and individual who has ever seen or even heard of FBN it would be the smallest holiday card print run in history."

Which is, quite frankly, an awesome jab back at Rupert Murdoch's house. But it's also an invitation for FNC and FBN to take things up a notch. And given that the Post has always been Murdoch's (or rather, Roger Ailes') mouthpiece for attacking the competition, we're looking forward to the Post's ink to run bloody red through Christmas. And you know they're going to bring up Donny Deutsch's name and ratings.

Update: FBN takes CNBC behind the dumpster: "Perhaps the humorless, out of touch folks at CNBC should pull their heads out of Englewood Cliffs and embrace the reality of a viable competitor."
