Do you mean Details is going to be shut down entirely or just trimmed back?
An insider at Details told me that most of the advertising in Details is provided to advertisers for free in connection with paid advertising in other publications and that Details is their biggest money loser.
I stopped paying for it after first year (writing is awful) but they keep sending it for at least three more years now
