The Lehman Brothers Saga, Coming to a Theatre Near You

We still might be a couple months away from our Academy nominations, but that doesn't mean we can't start casting for the big roles next year. And what better shot at relevance than to start a Lehman Bros. film about the corporate espionage that crashed the Dow Jones? It will be like August, except topical and without David Bowie! Or Wall Street, but with banks! But who to cast in the scene-chewing roles, such as New York Fed president-cum Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner (pictured left)?

Wall Street Journal suggests "the man who played the boyish Charlie Chaplin, Robert Downey Jr." And they got Hugh Laurie from House and George Clooney fighting over the juicy John Thain part. Stunt casting? Ben Kingsley as human void and Lehman prez Dick Fuld.
