Wait, so we've heard nothing but rumors about NBC's Office spin-off for over a year now, and even though Amy Poehler's already left SNL to tape it we have no idea what this show is even going to be about (never mind: We have confirmation!!), while meanwhile Gossip Girl, which has been on for approximately two minutes, already has a fully-formed spinoff that's beginning its shooting schedule in L.A.? WTF?

[T]he spinoff will center on young Lily Rhodes (her maiden name) who, after a falling out with her parents, is forced to move in with her sister, the black sheep of the Rhodes family. Overnight, Lily has to transition from a life of luxury and education at a wealthy Montecito boarding school to living deep in the San Fernando Valley she once made fun of and going to public school. Caught between two worlds, Lily dives into the fast-paced Sunset Strip and the Hollywood lifestyle of the '80s, journeying over the hill to a world of wealth and excess that used to be her own.

It's like Degrassi 90210! Oh shit, I wonder if every episode is going to have Kelly Rutherford "flashing back" to her younger years, just so the actress can stay in L.A. and deal with her messy divorce while still pulling in a paycheck.
