Sienna Miller Pulls a Katie Holmes, Goes Where the Lights are Bright

It's funny, because during the last Depression, a lot of those New York theater types moved to Hollywood and were absorbed in the Tinseltown glitz machine. This time around however, the roles seem to have been reversed.

SIenna Miller is going to Broadway for a revival of the three-person show, After Miss Julie by Patrick Marber. And while it's not unusual to see famous thespian actors like Kevin Kline, Glenn Close, or Jeremy Piven John Malkovich effortlessly move from the big screen to the big stage and back again, we have to wonder about this trend of Hollywood actresses doing the same. Wasn't Katie Holmes supposedly terrible in All My Sons? And we can't imagine a woman best known for being cheated on by Jude Law is going to be able to carry a three-person show all on her own. But what do we know: Miller is from London, and the theater scene plays (hah!) a much bigger role in culture than it does in the U.S. Come to think of it, we've never seen Sienna in anything other than magazines, so the blond could be the next Dame Judi Dench for all we know.

What a joke. You can only ride the "I got cheated on" train so far.

Seems the Roundabout Theatre Company is trying to capitalize and make money from Miller's whorefame.
A whore playing the role of a whore is hardly considered acting.
