That's what some are speculating anyway, and it does make a certain amount of sense: with the new Late Wars brewing, Jimmy Kimmel taking an 11:35 slot on ABC to duke it out with Conan when he takes over The Tonight Show. Even though ABC execs officially put there "nays" on the table, they can't really expect people to turn to them for late night news when every other network is showing celebrities being interviewed by funny people. Then again, diversity, diversity.
