What was it that Alfred said about the Joker? "Some men just want to watch the world burn?" That's sort of how I feel about Ben Silverman, who despite not putting anything good or relevant on NBC airwaves since 30 Rock, continues to climb to corporate ladder and spit champagne on all those minions below*. It doesn't make any sense! Where does he get all those wonderful toys? Life isn't fair, waaaaah. But if you're lucky enough to get into his good graces, Silverman is throwing a rockin' party big corporate meeting thingie for all top executives of NBC and Universal at his Pacific Palisades home. Because when you're the most mind-bogglingly successful person since Steve Martin in The Jerk, you might as well party until someone catches on.

*Footnote: I understand being co-chairman of Entertainment at NBC is not the same as being an anarchistic terrorist in greasepaint. Analogies aren't a science, okay?
