Oh, how sweet is this? Ex-hubbie Nick Lachey is in Extra today, "defending" Jessica Simpson's "curves." In fact, the entire front page of the site is devoted to other celebrities telling Simpson to stay strong and hang in there. Because that's what you do when people gain weight, you treat them like they're Patrick Swayze. This, by the way, is the picture of the morbidly obese Simpson.
Nick says, "I hope she's happy, whatever size she comes in…I wish her nothing but the best." That's a pretty strong defense, right? And it comes only days after the New York Post cartoon portraying Jessica as a fat hambeast. Because if we're not teaching girls that being too skinny is unhealthy, we're shoving it in their face that being overweight is unacceptable. Nothing new to see here folks, move along.

She looks just fine right now, but she did have the catty criticism coming to her. After all, she played up her looks - more specifically, her tits and ass - quite a lot in The Dukes of Hazzard, music videos and magazine shoots. After you put yourself out there as a fine piece of ass, you shouldn't complain when people snark about you adding a little girth.
What really grinds my gears about this piece is that Extra goes on and on about how she's a healthy weight and all but then they have their "fitness experts" give jessica tips on how to get in shape.

Jessica should be on suicide watch. I can't imagaine how someone as fat as her could bear to be alive. She is so brave.
