We can't tell if making Pulitzer prize winning author Samantha Powers an aide in the White House is a sane, sober decision by Barack Obama, or just his last dig at Hillary Clinton before she makes her first journey as our new Secretary of State. On the one hand, Powers is a respected professor at Harvard and has already worked on the Obama's campaign during the primaries. On the other hand…

Powers was the one who notoriously got booted from Barack's camp when she was caught calling Hillary Clinton a "monster." Well, at least Sam was better than any of Obama's previous choices: Randi Rhodes, Chris Matthews, or Monica Lewinsky.

Don't you think Hillary had something to say about whether or not this woman would work in her department? I think she did and I think Hillary is smart enough to know that this woman is a good choice and that what was said was done in the heat of the campaign. It's not a big deal, really!!
