Since the election, Oprah Winfrey has done nothing but talk up the Chicago Sun-Times for being one of the best papers in the country. Which is great and all, and we're sure they appreciate the endorsement, but since the company is swinging perilously close to Chapter 11 right now, some people are wondering: Why doesn't she just go out and buy the damn thing? Private donors forevs, although technically it might be a problem if instead of objective reporting and hard-hitting exposes on local politics, we now had a bunch of anecdotes about how you can better learn to love yourself (and Barack Obama).
