Not that we're ones to laugh at others' misfortunes, but lets really yuck it up at the misfortunes of Todd Palin, who was held in contempt by the Senate for his part in Troopergate. It's not even that mean to laugh at him, because it's not like he was put in jail or anything for doing something illegal (refusing to show up after being subpoenaed), in fact he's snowmobile racing as we speak. He's probably yucking it up himself right now, come to think of it.

Unfortunately, the other McCain campaign arrest this weekend wasn't so funny.

A wide-ranging investigation has been launched into allegations that a well-known Pueblo resident has molested many boys over the years, including most recently when he was the manager for Sen. John McCain's presidential-campaign office in Pueblo.

Under investigation is Jeffrey Claude Bartleson, 52, who was arrested Jan. 29 and then re-arrested Wednesday after a campaign worker in the McCain office told police she believed Bartleson molested one of her sons.

And of course the worst part — besides the little boy's testimony that he kept trying to get away but Bartleson kept pulling him back to bed — is that this all occurred on the way to a Palin rally.
