How Good Morning America Got an Octuplet Grandma Interview Without 'Paying' For It

sulemanabc

Last week Jossip heard NBC paid octuplet mom Nadya Suleman some $300,000 for an exclusive sit-down for the Today show. And now Nadya's grandmother Angela is getting in on the cash, granting an interview to Good Morning America. But because morning shows do not pay for interviews, there was some fuzzy math:

Angela gave the interview to the paparazzi agency Splash News, which cut her a cheque, reports TVN. Then RadarOnline.com, now owned by National Enquirer publisher American Media, paid Splash News for the footage. And then GMA paid RadarOnline a "licensing fee" for the content. Hands clean!

Funny how all that behind-the-scenes stuff works.

I'm glad she got paid for the interview. She needs the money….to pay to have more and more babies!!!

we need to start a fund drive to pay for her next pregnancy

this broad has at least another decade of baby making power

the record is some woman in 19th century russia who had 32 kids (all of them multiple births) she was presented to the czar

octopussy can beat that for sure

Good for Grandma. Those old people shouldn't lose their life savings because of their self-absorbed nasty daughter. No parents sets out to deliberately raise a daughter like Nadya Suleman. They must be heartbroken and they obviously feel very responsible for the grandchildren just as they do for that ingrate daughter. She talks to her mother like she's not even a human being but goes on about those poor infants hanging on for dear life being human beings. Poor infants. After watching Nadya show her behind with her mother, it's clear she has no intention of placing those kids for adoption. She's tough, ruthless, and has a plan for milking this to the end. Since she never paid Grandma to live in her house or reimbursed her for her retirement checks spent on her original six children, Grandma better strike while the iron's hot and cash in on this.

No. 4 · Lies not necessary

What makes me angry are the media lies. This is America, if you have something to offer and can sell it, then go for you. It's the American way. I become angry when the media lies about payments to her. She performed for you and you got your ratings pay the lady for a job well done. Do not ask the rest of us to feel sympathy and pull money out of our packets for her irresponsible choices. You made your bed … you know the rest. We struggle and do the best we can with what we have and now it's suppose to be our responsibility to carry pick-up her slack! No the media who are enjoying their high rating because of her should pay-up. Do the right thing and stop asking us to voluntee our efforts and money. She can pay for servies needed and she will be far better off in the end than most of us, if the media does what is right.

Why does radaronline continue to deny contributing financially to ocutumom. They are paying for the pictures and videos but technically not the verbal interviews. Why hide the truth?
