Nicolette Sheridan is leaving ABC's Desperate Housewives. Best friends Katherine Heigl and TR Knight are leaving ABC's Grey's Anatomy. And Balthazar Getty is leaving ABC's Brothers & Sisters. Wait — one of those is wrong?

Yup! Not everybody is fleeing from the network that was a fairytale place to work only two years ago. Getty, who plays Tommy Walker on the show, supposedly isn't ditching for good. He's just "taking time off from the show right now because we felt that character was really on a downward spiral and you see him really go on it," says co-show runner Alison Schapker. She adds: "Tommy is in no way permanently gone. This is just the logical end to this year's story. What we'd like to do is bring him back next year in a different way."

Like without the distraction of Sienna Miller.

I honestly think he is not going to be any different keep him out of the show and get somebody plausible. Ever since the affair with Miller lots of people I know are not watching the show, its a shame. And next year he is still going to be the guy who humiliated his wife and children. He has no class no character and no morals and that is not going to change by next year.
