Inglorious Basterds: Now with More Ryan from The Office!

The long-awaited teaser trailer for Quentin Tarantino's Inglorious Basterds has now hit the 'net, which means right now half the Taranfanatics are like "Awesome!" and they other half are like "Is that B.J. Novak?" Holy shit. Also Mike Meyers as a Nazi general and Eli Roth playing someone who didn't bring the world Hostel. Sounds like a stretch. Video after the jump.

I'm that asshole who kind of enjoyed seeing Grindhouse in theaters, so I'll give this one a shot. Even though if there are any totally bitchin' concentration camp scenes where emaciated prisoners talk like Mr. Pink, I'm out.

WWII used to be the gold standard for inhumanity and despicable, sadistic behavior.

Importing modern day theatre violence into a period piece on the war really brings to the fore what simple, innocent times these were.

Yeah but you have to remember that this is a remake of a movie from the 70's that drew on those Blaxploitation tropes. So its not really going to be an attempt at a WWII movie so much as it is another "Tarantino loved 70's cinema!" movie.

I'm so excited for this movie. I hope it is another "Tarantino loved 70's cinema" movie cause that's his strong suit.

Oh and it's Inglorious Basterds. I know, it pains me too spelling it wrong on purpose but that's what Tarantino wants.
