Herman Rosenblat Declares Himself Crazy, Not a Liar
 

Herman Rosenblat duped Oprah into thinking his now-wife tossed apples through the fence of his Holocaust death camp, all for the sake of his memoir Angels At the Fence. But when it came out that it would've been physically impossible for any apple tossing, Rosenblat recanted his statement, his book was canceled, and he was shamed into hiding. Tomorrow, he'll appear on Good Morning America to tell his side of the lies. But a preview of his defense: He didn't lie, he just believed an alternate version of reality.

That guy appearing on GMA today with Herman R. was most probably his film producer mentioned in today's AP story by Hillel Italie, Harrison Solomon or something. I heard his "voice" once on an Israeli national radio program a few years ago promoting his "movie that will never be" about the apples that never were. I am sure that is Harrison. The news media will tell us tomorrow. Harrison is the guy who wants to turn Mr R's fake story into a fake movie. The bets in Hollywood are that 1. the movie will never be made, 2. because there is no financing for it and 3. all this PR stuff on GMA is to try to raise funds for the movie that will never get made and 4. we all know why. This entire thing is playing out as a shameful enormous farce and Herman's appearance on GMA today is nothing more than shameful and ill-thought out. My guess is that he is being coralled into this by the above mentioned Harrison Solomon. But I rather liked the interview on tape above, Mr R sounds like a likeable avuncular pathological liar the likes of which we have not seen for a very long time. I wonder how the GMA people got the get? Was it filmed in NYC or down in Miami? I cannot wait to see the uproar in the media tomorrow after all this airs. Good on ya, sire, for airing this preemptive strike in public. Herman, we hardly knew ye….. Now we know ye better!
