Herman Rosenblat Remains Steadfastly Unrepentent About Lying

Likely paying Herman Rosenblat a total of zero dollars, Good Morning America welcomed the fake Holocaust memoirist to the show this morning. Yesterday, we brought you a sneak peek of that interview, where Rosenblat admitted not to lying, but to possessing a wild imagination. And now, the full package.

Rosenblat insists he was publishing the book to bring attention to Holocaust survivors. But the guy's own son says Rosenblat was in it for the money. And, because he's human, Oprah's approval.

Meanwhile, ABC somehow let movie producer Harris Saloman, who is working on a fictionalized version of Rosenblat's story (whatever that means) on set during the interview. Mr. Saloman suffers from interviewus interuptus, and it's splendid.

Good note above, and you can imagine how Jewish people feel about this sad interview too. My own feeling as an amateur shrink is that Mr Rozenblatt is NOT after money, but that he is mentally sick, unbalanced, and his handlers behind him, those producers in Hollywood, are pushing him to keep telling his story in the hopes of keeping the story alive so they can raise enough funds to make the movie. But my gut instinct tells me that after this pathetic interview, with the controllling Hollywood producer seen pacing in tbe background, whoever he is, I never heard of his name in Hollywood circles, and I work in Hollywood. My gut instinct is that the movie that is said to be "being planned" will NEVER get made, and there won't be any new book either. These scmucks are obviously desperate. But don't blame the old man, he is almost 90 and he is mentally unstable. Look at his face and eyes. The culprits are the younger people in publishing and movie biz who want to further their careers with this crap. It will never happen. We Jewish people are good people, there are always a few bad apples here and there, every group has them, but don't blame Mr Rozenblatt. He is a sick man and needs help. ASAP. Blame his handlers, whoever they are, his agents and editors and film crew. By the way, if the movie is really to start filming this summer, why has the Hollywood trades not mentioned who the direector is or who the cast is? There is a complete sham here. Jossip should not even report this stuff anymore.
