@tony the tiger: Mulatto refers to an animal. People are biracial,it is a common mistake that some people make. It actually came into use during slavery when people lumped slaves procreation under the umbrella of animal husbandry. The term comes from a time when some people in this country were considered farm animals and has a huge stigma. If someone does not interact with people of color they may not know .
