Hey, the Academy Awards last night were not just about inappropriate dance montages and Will Smith hosting the entire middle section that no one cares about. It was also about HEATH LEDGER and HEATH LEDGER'S OSCAR and WHO WILL PICK UP LEDGER'S OSCAR FOR HIM? More so than the winners, we were interested in the subtle nuances of last night's gracious losers: the best supporting actors (including "Seymour Philip Hoffman," gah!!) who didn't get nominated or knew they weren't going to win, but still managed to sit through the sham of a contest that was fixed as soon as Ledger took that Benadryl/Xanax/Oxycodone cocktail. you honestly believe that there was another actor nominated for best supporting actor that did a better job than Heath? dead or alive, no one transformed and became their character more than Heath did.. you actually get lost in the character with him… but, please.. tell me exactly who, of the nominees, did a better job and deserved the win more…. since he only won because he died, that should be no problem, right?
