It hit The Insider last night. It was on the Today show this morning. Video of Nadya Suleman fighting with her mother Angela over the decision to implant so many embryos after she already had six children is more than just gossip bait — it's a great stab by RadarOnline.com, now owned by American Media Inc., to compete with the TMZs of the world with exclusive must-see tabloid footage. But the question always looms: Who got paid? And how?

The site promises more footage throughout the day, and perhaps in the weeks to come, releasing bite-size morsels to feed every hour of the celebrity news cycle this week. The video comes from an interview RadarOnline.com says it "exclusively" scored with Suleman, which the site insists it didn't pay for, because that would totally taint things! But Radar already has a problem with cash flow: It reportedly paid Splash News for an interview that found its way to Good Morning America.

And then on the Today show this morning, Meredith Vieira interviewed RadarOnline.com senior executive editor Chris Meyers — who clearly has Nadya's back — and asked whether they paid for the interview … and Vieira totally got handed the "Didn't you pay for your Nadya interview?" storyline back at her. Brilliant.

So. Here we are, still talking Suleman, and still feeding the media frenzy that may or may not (but very probably is) paying Nadya's bills. And while TMZ may have scored the picture of a very pregnant Suleman, the AOL-Telepictures venture clearly lost this story to AMI.
