Is Tom Cruise's Assistant Really His Publicist Really His Sister?

Just like Faye Dunaway in Chinatown, Lee Anne DeVette's relationship with her brother Tom Cruise is complicated, to say the least. First, she was his publicist, but then her Scientology kookiness got in the way of Cruise's image (Ha!) and he demoted her to "personal" assistant. But now there are rumors that DeVette has taken on some of her old duties from Cruise's current PR firm, R&C.

"They say she's his assistant, but everything has to go through her," said an insider. R&C's Paul Bloch told us: "Lee Anne DeVette has always worked for Tom Cruise. She works for his charity. She's not his gatekeeper." And Bloch denied that journalists who recently wanted to interview Cruise in Italy first had to read an article about Scientology. "All they were given was material on ["Valkyrie"], Bloch said.

Don't you see: She's his assistant and his publicist! Even celebrities need to trim down during the recession, and that means making their family members work double duty.

No. 1 · Check Your Premises

Tom they taped your auditing sessions. There's a hidden camera at the Celebrity Center. They lied to you.

Ask yourself why the walls at Gold Base are so high with such menacing, dangerous barb. To keep people out? Or in?

If you start to question things and read material they don't want you to, that does not make you a criminal. Nor does it make critics liars, racists or guilty of any other sordid offenses. That's just a catch-22 they made up to indoctrinate and control.

Would a truly enlightened system tell you it was ok to lie, cheat, trick, willingly FALSELY accuse people of crimes, and destroy them utterly?

Thinking freely may at times be uncomfortable, but is NEVER I crime. And no one but an oppressive person would tell you it was.
