Sean Delonas Is At It Again

You know how if you are a cop and you accidentally shoot your partner in the foot or something, you're put on "desk duty" and told to stay off the streets? That's sort of what we figured Murdoch was going to do with Sean Delonas after that whole "stimulus monkey" fiasco. The least he could do was suspend the guy without pay, right? But instead, the Post publisher sicked his most controversial cartoonist on Michael Wolff.

Wolff, who spent a year talking to Murdoch for his biography on the Aussie, recently made some not-so-nice statements about his long-time subject and instead of addressing them personally, Murdoch just let his own paper speak for him. Which would have been a good tactic, if America currently didn't hate everything Sean Delonas stands for. As it stands, the Newser founder will probably sell more books because of the Post's indictment.

What bothers me about this cartoon is further evidence that Delonas includes "clues" to the hidden meaning in his cartoons (in this case labelling Wolff as a pedophile by including the teddy bear etc.).

In the chimp cartoon Delonas including a "beware of dog" sign which was his hidden clue that the white policemen who shot the chimp were intended to portray the white policemen controlling the protesting black man in the deep south in jim crowe times (since the policement mostly used dogs to control blacks during race riots).

Of course everyone at Jossip is a complete idiot so they think nothing of the sort.
