Bristol Palin and high school hockey heartthrob Levi Johnston are calling off the wedding, according to uh, everyone. Last we heard, Levi was having a hard time holding down a job in the oil fields and his mother is still waiting to get sentenced for that Oxycontin case, so maybe it's for the best.

On the other hand, that's just another unfortunately named child who will most likely grow up without a father figure around. And even though that happens every day, it's still fucking depressing, and doubly so to see your relationship/life failures broadcast on every major news outlet.

A shame. Better in the long run, perhaps. At least they provide an example of people being willing to value the life they created.
