When Amanda Terkel from Think Progress picked up a story about Bill O'Reilly speaking at a Alexa Foundation conference, she immediately grabbed the implication. The Alexa Foundation is dedicated to supporting rape victims, while the Factor host has made incendiary comments in the past, basically alluding to the fact that some women are "asking for it." So Terkel wrote an article pointing out O'Reilly's hypocrisy, only to find herself weeks later in the midst of a No Spin street attack.
– The Ambush: Shortly after checking into our lodgings, we emerged and immediately saw two men walking toward us calling out my name. (O'Reilly producer Jesse) Watters said he was from Fox News, but never said his or his companion’s name, nor did he say he was with The O’Reilly Factor.
– The Surprise Attack: Watters immediately began asking me why I was causing “pain and suffering” to the Alexa Foundation. He never gave me the context for his questions. Confused, I repeatedly asked him what he was talking about and whether he could refresh my memory, but he just continued shouting his question.
Repeated, redundant shouting to make a point? On Fox News? Never! So when O'Reilly inevitably airs this clip of a visibly confused Terkel and demanding she apologize to the Alexa Foundation (which she refused to do for Fox, though she said if a member of Alexa called her up personally, she would gladly speak to them), you'll know the real story.

oh these people need to stop whining. And need to learn how to put things in context. If you're going to make such horrible accusations against a HUGE media figure, you are going to be tracked down and responded to. Toughen up!
NO ONE should ever be expected to be raped….But don't go walking through a bad part of town, DRUNK wearing next to nothing….women have got to be careful. It's like when people leave their cars unlocked then cry when their stuff gets stolen…..come on.
We need to learn from other's mistakes, but to do that we have to first recognize their mistakes. Her mistake was NOT getting raped..do not go and twist MY words….she simply did not take appropriate measures to keep herself safe. MY heart aches for her family, but good can come from this.
There was nothing wrong with OReilly's comments. He spoke the truth. I watch Bill regularly and he ALWAYS tries to protect, stand up for the victims. His comments were twisted and taken out of context. Good job Lefties….find something legit next time.

Sarah and FANOFGRENDEL. Once again I have to point out what totally naive suckers the both of you are when it comes to Bill O'Reilly. Bill is a reminiscent of those televangelists that got the good people all up in a lather by using hate speech and an "us or them" message. Have either of you ever seen or read "Elmer Gantry"? Well, Elmer is Bill. You two make me laugh because your fear of anything different, or change, or, oh my God, a black man running the country, has turned you both into Bill's little sheep. What you don't realize is, Bill doesn't care about his sheep. He simply keeps them in his corral and fleeces them of their money (books, website store, speaking engagements) with hate filled words and lots and lots of yelling and intolerance.
The fact of the matter is, Bill would gladly slaughter his sheep, one by one, if it was financially good for him. Oh, and Ann Coulter will gladly help him, because she believes in her hate filled spewing just as much as Bill does his.
The fact that the two of you got sucked into Bill's cesspool just makes me laugh my ass off. The next thing you know you two will tell us that Rush Limbaugh is genuine.
