Ben Silverman Assures That Poor Audience Results Are Norm For NBC

Parks and Recreation, that new "Office spin-off show" that's not, turned out some terrible test scores with consumer testing groups. Audiences felt that the show was "paced too slow," "didn't have any likable male leads" and was a "carbon copy" of The Office, also written by Greg Daniels.

But never fear, NBC Entertainment co-chair Ben Silverman says that low scores are normal for his shows. Which uh, we could have told Jeff Zucker awhile ago, but he never seems to return our calls.

New meme: Silverman is the Ashton Kutcher of NBC.
