Huffington Post Looking to Take Over the Internet

conservadems
Since they've already cornered the market on celebrity progressives, Arianna Huffington and her team of do-gooders have launched a series of vertically integrated sites, starting with their Green section and more recently, with the consuming of partner site 23/6. Now, according to an add listing on Mediabistro, the empire is looking to gobble up more space on the Internet.

The Huffington Post is looking for web editors with expertise in the following areas: sports; technology and gadgets; and books.

Each editor will create and manage one of three new sections — Sports, Technology & Gadgets, and Books — being launched on The Huffington Post (huffingtonpost.com) — "The Internet Newspaper." Editors will develop "destination" pages by overseeing news and a subject-specific group blog.

You wouldn't think there would be a huge overlap between people who care about sports and people who fanatically refresh Huffpost every ten seconds, but who knows? Maybe Al Gore is thinking about buying the Cubs from Sam Zell.

The only thing I would like to see green about Arianna Huffington would be the mold on her coffin.

(a bit harsh, I know)

I have been BANNED from commenting on The Huffington Post.

I nominate this for an ORWELL AWARD - BEST LEFT-IS-RIGHT CENSORSHIP BULLSHIT.

I mentioned my post FREAKY AND FILTHY * RUSH LIMBAUGH UNZIPPED within a comment, and made fun of the Spinal Tap 'Unplugged' Reunion.

THAT'S IT!

APPALLING. Soviet PRAVDA ethics. I'm not a teenage tweaker. I'm a middle-aged mom.

I'm censored by the 'LIBERAL MEDIA' for goofing that 'Unplugged'= prostate problems and 'Tour'= alimony?? Perhaps because Christopher Guest's wife is an official "HuffPo" blogger and no one wants to hurtsy-poo her feelings?

Typical for ACE SHAM Arianna "Zsa Zsa" Huffington, who wed a gay guy for $$$ to rev her game when her facile books tanked and she'd, uh, 'been through' everybody.

Huff Po banned anti zionist material, thus they are part of the noise machine. I used to read it, but now regard it as propaganda.

if you read some chomsky or some walter lippman, etc. or contemporary books on political theory, media theory, etc.

You know reading the huffingtonpost is consenting to, being made powerless.

Plus she's a closet moderate and no kind of left partisan I want anything to do with…

Solidly middle brow and she can take her modicum of education and stick it up her ass. Everytime that woman speaks, it sounds like she's got a mouthful of cats.

Ms. Huffington is now an accepted member of the glitterati and that kind of shallowness is being reflected in her posts more everyday. Cosmo anyone?
