Celebrities Too Lazy to Type 140 Characters
Just Like Dressing Themselves, Stars Outsource Blogging

How sad is it when we have to start looking at Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore as shining examples of how to interact with your fans? There's a lot to be said about the cougar-coupling of these two and their TMI on Twitter, but at least you know that it's actually the celebrity duo themselves writing those stupidly addicting updates. As for other celebs? That's not always the case.

Because Twitter is seen as an intimate link between celebrities and their fans, many performers are not willing to divulge the help they use to put their thoughts into cyberspace.

Britney Spears recently advertised for someone to help, among other things, create content for Twitter and Facebook. Kanye West recently told New York magazine that he has hired two people to update his blog. “It’s just like how a designer would work,” he said.

Yes Kanye, just like how a designer would work, if a designer's only job was to write less than two sentences about themselves once in awhile to keep their fans happy. If you thought Twitter was the tool of extreme narcissists, what does that say about the celebrities who have to outsource their daily minutia? It's like Warhol's Factory method, but instead of producing art you are updating fans on how fun Dubai is.

@aplusk : Keep up the good work!

I'm shocked! I here these guy don't do their own tweets:

Though one of them is dead, so I guess that might be excused.
