Former Fed For Border Control Wants America to Toke Up in Peace

Listen, when you get the government version of the Minutemen telling Anderson Cooper that marijuana needs to be legalized, it can either mean one of two things: Either this guy has just now caught up on the 4th season of Weeds, or it's time for Barack Obama to just decriminalize that shit already. Haha, just kidding, that will never happen. Sorry college freshman who are still signing Facebook petitions for the president to read.

Oh wait, he's not just talking about pot. He's talking about all drugs. Ballsy move, ten gallon.

He's right. Regulation ruins everything.

I'd like to know how much of different states' budgets go towards incarceration of citizens for drug related offenses. A whole shitload in my state. If they were to downsize the Dept. of Corrections here, our city economy would take a huge hit. I imagine it's like that in a lot of places. I can't get behind the notion of keeping something illegal just to fill jail space and employ thousands of people to look after them. Isn't that a form of socialism, in some kind of twisted, military state-ish way?
