In case you're a raging insomniac or just happen to be up late, late at night worrying about the economy or something, MTV will be showing a block of music videos from 3 a.m. till 9 a.m., at which time their core fan-base will just be waking up to go to school and talk about how much MTV sucks now that they don't show music videos anymore.
