BREAKING: Project Runway Saved!

Thank god that the dark cloud that's been hovering over Harvey Weinstein since he decided to switch his popular runway show from Bravo to Lifetime is finally resolved. The whole litigious process of NBC getting an injunction to prevent Weinstein from moving the show, Lifetime suing Weinstein, and Weinstein giving all his money to charity because he lost stupid bets to Page Six can finally be put to rest. Full statement from the show:

NBC Universal, The Weinstein Company and Lifetime have resolved their disputes. The Weinstein Company will pay NBCU for the right to move Project Runway to Lifetime. All of the parties are pleased with the outcome. Harvey Weinstein added, "I want to personally congratulate Jeff Zucker and NBCU on their success in the litigation and thank Jeff for resolving this in a professional manner. We look forward to working together on our ongoing projects.”

Now America can say "auf wiedersehen" to their worries that the next Christian Siriano won't be discovered until 2012.

I only hope that the Lifetime demographic doesn't mess with the show. They will lose me on the first calico or Kraft macaroni and cheese-sponsored challenge.

I have a feeling the show will lose a lot of fans now that it is on Lifetime, I think I might be one of them. Granted, Bravo isn't an highbrow tv network, but I can't stand those Nora Roberts movie commercials.

Can they give Hiedi a personality make over? Iman hosts Project Runway Canada and still is charming and credible. It is time to "Auf" Hiedi.

Only my DVR cares what channel it's on.
