i was thinking the same thing. not that she looks anywhere near what she does on the right in real life, but i've seen images where they've actually photoshopped the star to look worse.

I love Madonna! This woman has worked hard her whole life. She is 50 years old she works out three hours a day, has three children will soon have four and she has the ass of a 20 year old. Why do we expect her to look 19? People expect perfect that is why any picture you see in a magazine be it Miley Cyrus (16 yrs) or Dame Judy Densch (hot but very old) is retouched so let's cut a 50 year old woman a break for looking 40 in photos. I would love to photograph half the yentas on this site in their underwear. They didn't look this good 20 years ago let alone now.

my hubs a photog and i do the computer end–that's why i'm chained to this computer and on this site at all hours! processing a large file takes time so i jet over here and check out the ruckus :)

@weezy: you are now my hero. I bought Photoshop a year ago, but have done nothing more than install it. Jossip did accuse me of using it during the alleged Obama Fingers Scandal, but I have since been absolved of any guilt.

ask away guys, i'll tell you all my secrets. luckily, in the past couple of years there are filters invented that do things it took me hours to do. you can do a batch of photos all at once too, so it's awesome. the best new filter/tool is 'liquefy'–the slimming tool. that's the one giving our daughter's bad self-esteem. luckily, my 11 year watches me, she sees the reality so she constantly points out stuff on magazines that are retouched. we'll see if she's still as wise in middle school. i hope.

p.s. i don't know the laura bush scandal, fill me in.

p.s. i have been known to give a model a wonky eye or extra chin fat if they were a b*tch. easy to get drunk with power!

@weezy: You officially have the coolest job ever. The Laura Bush 'scandal' was that she was the go-to girl at SMU for weed. Not that I think that is scandalous, just interesting that she was actually a pretty hip girl in her day.

there was a rumor that Laura Bush in college was a pot dealer. It's a little hard to imagine, but who knows!

I met Laura Bush during the 2000 campaign, and her pictures do not do her justice. She has beautiful skin, and sparkling blue eyes. She is a very pretty woman, very friendly.

There's nothing wrong with being an older woman. But when you're an older woman like Madonna, who can't let go, then you make a fool of yourself. She could be a graceful, confident, powerful, older woman who acts and dressed age appropriately. Instead, Madonna still tries to act and play the ingenue and it's tragic.

i'm a bit disappointed at the work madonna's had done. if anyone could have made 50 acceptable and fierce, she was the one. now she's stretched and frozen like the rest of them.

Look. She's 50 years old. Either both pictures were photoshopped or she's had so much facial surgery so that she DOESN'T look like the picture on the left, that it's all fake anyway. She can't deny her age AND it's oinly going to increase every year. So tough luck, Madge. YOu are what you are.

she's a fifty year old woman! even if she really looks like that without the photoshop she still looks great for her age! she works hard, has a family and has proved herself in an industry that reeks of flakiness and superficiality. you may not like everything she does but why ridicule her for not looking 19 years old when she's fifty?

honestly, it is doubtful madonna requested this personnaly because she works out like a crazy person and is on the record for saying that you know whatever about surgery you still need to eat right and work up a sweat.

i may not buy her music, and i don't secretly lust after her, but i don't hate her (oh puhlease) and i do respect her business sense. who else has remained relevant in the pop culture for all these years?

@weezy: Weezy, I don't know if GetReal was referring to me or one of the many unicorns that prance around in her head, but I am 10000% certain that I have never even entertained the notion that Obama had anything to do with any kind of training OR any sort of terrorist anything, much less got online and posted or discussed such things. I have no idea what the hell that reference is about. She could cut & paste that statement or direct you to where it's located if she wanted to. Maybe the stress of running a large corporation is taking its toll on the little missy.
