I was not a fan of spending spree that occurred during the last 8 years, but the spending during the Bush Admin is a teeny, tiny drop in the bucket compared to the $9.3 trillion (four times larger than the deficits of the last admin)in deficits over the next ten years that the Obama budget is going to rack up.

I am reposting a post and you can see and hear in his own words (there is video) where Bill O"Reilly on his own show says that the correct leadership of the country is "the white, male power structure". I don't play the race card which conservatives always trot out but that is what he said. If you don't believe me watch him say it.

I think every ideology deserves to have a voice or a spokesperson but high ratings do not necessarily equal credibility. Mccarthy got great ratings in his time he had the same philosophy of enrage and divide. History has taught us there will always be a market for angry and divisive rhetoric, it makes disenfranchised people feel powerful and self-righteous if there are boogeymen (be they immigrants, or women, people of faith,people of color the list goes on and on) to blame for the limitations in their own lives. I am all for everyone be they conservatives, liberals, or independents have their own voices on TV, in newspapers, on the radio etc. I happen to prefer an ideology based on Americans coming together to solve problems, History teaches when us when Americans come together we are an unstoppable force. I also believe that every kind of American be they straight ,gay,asian,white,latino, whatever their race, sexual orientation, or gender have something to offer. I supported/support the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, therefore I supported the President in those actions. I don't support President Obama on most economic or social, and in many cases foreign policy issues, therefore I will not support his actions. If the President takes actions and stances I agree with I will support him, hell I'll yell that support from a mountain top.

I do not believe that to criticize the President on any issue makes one Un-American…or racist. (I didn't support a great many things Clinton did/believed, does that make me racist?)

I wouldn't care if the President was purple with orange spots, and had six legs and fangs…If he/she/it took stances and actions I believed in, I would support him/her/it, conversely if he/she/it did things I disagreed with I would not support him/her/it.
