Sex and the City:2 Will Have No Competition
All Will Bow Before Carrie Bradshaw

Even with the show being off the air for a good 5 years now, and the movie tying up every conceivable loose-end within its 2 1/2 hour framework, the siren call to make money off of aging cougars who still see themselves as a Samantha is too good to pass up. Therefore duh-duh-duh: Warner Bros. and New Line have officially set a date (May 10th, 2010) for the next installment of the Candace Bushnell series, SATC 2: The Streets. No, I just wish that was the title. No other films have yet to claim that date for opening weekend, except for an untitled project the next weekend starring the only two people in the world less charismatic than Cynthia Nixon: Ashton Kutcher and Katherine Heigl.

No. 1 · umm...

Guys, if you look at the link you provided (http://www.variety.com/article/VR1118002042.html?categoryid=13&cs=1), it definitely says:

"Warner Bros. and New Line will release "Sex and the City 2" in theaters on May 28, 2010"

Not May 10th.

It is opening Memorial Day Weekend. US Weekly and everyone's Mom was reporting yesterday that Prince of Persia is opening that same weekend…
