Angelina and Madonna's Delicious Spicy Baby-off (VIDEO)

Saturday Night Live is getting a little lazy about their political skewering (that Barack Obama cold open was more 'explain the news' than 'a skewering commentary on our country's fuckedness'), but what they're missing in sharp political discourse they made up in sharp celebrity analysis. And in a flip of the usual Angelina versus Jen feud, Weekend Update provided us with The Baby-Off: Angelina versus Madonna. (Warning: Video contains no cameos by skinny Seth Rogen)

Now, if only world leaders would race for exotic babies instead of the launch of nuclear rockets, SNL would be on the top of their game again. (Hint hint Simon Rich.)

Unable to hurl but only the most gentle of barbs at the current president, SNL returns to a state of lame that is almost unwatchable. Ratings follow.

They only have one hope for the future, and her name is Sarah Palin.

Saw Loren Michaels on a talk show, he said Republicans were much more willing to laugh at themselves than democrats. I agree, democrats get "offended" by everything and hold a grudge.

Loren Michaels should have democrat writers during republican administration and conservative writers during democrat administration. Hint, Hint

the onion is far funnier than SNL anyway. Particular like the one on "skanks" lol

@Rhonda:

It's not that democrats have a difficult time laughing at themselves, it's just that most jokes about democrats aren't funny. Not that they couldn't be; currently they're just awful jokes.

Getting tired of the Angelina Jolie jokes. She is a great mother and and partner to Brad. Their children are THEIR children and I am getting tired of people making fun of their family.
