Everyone's Recession: Nicolas Cage Has To Give Up His Castle

You know Nicolas Cage, some of us don't have the luxury of owning several haunted pieces of property. So when we're all having our single haunted ghostly home foreclosed upon we don't have a lot sympathy for you selling off your German castle.

The Knowing star bought the 28-room castle for 1.8 million GBP three years ago in Bavaria, southern Germany where his mother's family come from.
At the time Cage, 45, told local media he wanted to spend millions turning the castle into a "wonderful hideaway" for "light hearted hours" with his family.
"The castle has something magical and I hope it will stimulate my fantasy and that it will also have a positive influence on my children," the star dad of two added.
But Cage was been spotted at the estate just once nearly a year ago.

I mean, it sucks your dreams of having your own creepy Neverland ranch won't be fulfilled, but there are always more countries that need an influx of celebrity money. Maybe someplace you can actually go visit more than once a year? A castle isn't like the kid you had with your first ex-wife you know.

Now if Nick could only buy some looks and talent…

Nick in a castle's kinda like Pickles Bush in a slutty slut suit.

I wondered why Nicolas Cage was selling off his collectibles. I recently bought his original Dracula movie poster from auction for $310,000. Here is a link to the story:
