aw, the ballerina!

No. 3 · uh.....

you DO know that Bush the Lesser was a cheerleader, right?

so, is your childish implication is that Emanuel is somehow "fem" because of his background in dance?

instead, why not spew some of your famous bigotry? or do you only hate black people and not jews? or is it that your tiny little mind can't come up with anything besides "ballerina"?

It's a nickname for him, a term of endearment. Ya, know like Bush's brain, Obama's ballerina.

No. 5 · uh.....

but why ballerina? "bush's brain" refers to a person who did the thinking (or planning, etc) for bush.

does Emanuel do the dancing for Obama? because your analogy doesn't make sense.

except perhaps to small minded bigots like yourself.

why not "obama's enforcer" or something that actually makes sense?

It's not my fault he is a ballerina!

your saying he's a gangster ballerina?

No. 8 · uh.....

didn't say it was your "fault", just your faulty analogy.

but about what I expect from a small-minded bigot.

the point, since you missed it, is that if you want to make an analogy to the term "bush's brain", it should at least be a similar correlation.

by calling him Obama's ballerina, it sounds as if you're implying that he does the dancing for Obama. is that the case? or are you just picking out something from his past to use as a slur against him? do you think that ballet dancing is a bad thing? or just when it's a man who does the dancing?

I know, this is probably too much for your brain to compute, but give it a try.

it's pretty tough, but I'll try, so Bush's brain was a statement of fact and not a slur?

Our high school football players were required to take ballet classes to improve overall coordination and strength. Back then, we were state champs every year for 5 years in a row. They don't do it anymore, and they don't win anymore either. Coincidence - or not? Hmm. Ballet is tough. It works muscles you never dreamed you even have. It may look "sissy" but it's anything but. Just my 2 cents for ballet dancers.

No. 11 · uh.....

rhonda, how uninformed ARE you?

even his administration called Rove "bush's brain". so, no, it was not a slur. not a "fact", either. However devoid of intellect or curiosity Bush was, he did, in fact, have a functioning brain. low-functioning, to be sure, but functioning nonetheless. "bush's brain" was, as you called it, a term of endearment. it was used to describe how Rove orchestrated a presidential victory for Bush.

JAYSUS, you really are that dumb, aren't you?

and props to what bam-a-lam said. ballet dancers are tougher than a LOT of other athletes. and Barishnakov was a HOTTIE. and very manly. but you know, Rhonda bases all of her opinions on stereotypes.

Hi Bam,

So what's the complaint? Bush's brain, Obama's ballerina

Thank you Rhonda, for proving, yet again, what a total idiot you are.

I've explained, in no uncertain terms, why your analogy doesn't work.

you either can't understand (most likely) or choose not to see it. Either way, thanks for demonstrating your unwavering idiocy and blinder-skewed vision.

Hi Rhonda. No complaint, except to note that ballet dancers are exceedingly tough, much tougher than cheerleaders, and waaay more graceful. I wasn't aware of Obama's ballet background (does he really have one?) but having taken ballet myself for many years, I am here to testify that it takes a lot of endurance, determination, and lonely, painful workouts to make it look easy.

"Bush's brain" actually does refer to Rove, as Bush was noted for not having a lot of functioning brain cells of his own.

Bam,

the ballerina is Rahm Emanuel, I've never heard anything about Obama being in the ballet.

That No Name, this doesn't concern you. stay in your lane.

Rhonda is an uneducated bigot who makes outlandish statements that she repeats from her "fair and balanced" source. crap that she takes as gospel and never investigates to determine the veracity.

Frankly, I enjoy allowing her to make a fool of herself. And it's so easy, so why not?

Hi there, Uh.

I see Rhonda expressing her views and being pleasant. She is even witty. I may have vastly different views than Rhonda, but I enjoy her comments.

You, how ever, Uh, are just ugly, angry and obnoxious. Beep Beep get outta the lane, I'm coming through.

@Rhonda: Ahhh. You see how much I keep up with the current doo-dahs. The Bush years totally exhausted me and I have little strength for delving very deep into who's who anymore. Can't help it, they really did wear me out. I'm fading fast…change COULD be on the horizon, but it will take more than just change in the White House, it'll take change among citizens, which is a lot more difficult.

Thanks for clearing that up for me, at any rate! I should pay more attention, but it's so freakin' tiresome anymore. I did watch a little Glenn Beck, and I totally hated his show. The Daily Show is at least funny since it's supposed to be, and it IS on Comedy Central, but I don't appreciate so-called real newspeople trying to be funny. It just irks me. I miss the days when the news was delivered straight on, without partisanship, and the viewers were left to figure out what to think of it for themselves. I pine for the old days. boo-hoo.

Yeah, gotta agree that regardless of whose views you agree with, Uh is the one coming off as angry and irrational here. Uh, you may not realize it, but the best way to make a point (if you have one) is not by just calling someone an idiot over and over again. I don't know what Rhonda's said in the past, but the grand total of what she wrote this time was "aw, the ballerina," at which point you went nuts.

I'm sure you'll respond to this by calling me an idiot too, but try to take a deep breath and think about it first.

when the two of you newbies have dealt with the bigotry and stupidity of Rhonda for as long as I have, I might listen to what you have to say.

If you actually think she is pleasant, you haven't read enough of her posts. she's posted plenty of ugly things. she's a bigot, pure and simple. and she will be dealt with and spoken to as such.

until then, mind your own business, and speak when spoken to.
