Well, we're getting there. At least it isn't watermelons and fried chicken, or monkey cartoons. Still, Walgreens took offense to this Chia Obama, most likely because growing out our president's hair into a giant bush could be construed as some sort of ethnic slur against afros. But honestly, look at that thing. If anything, it's a testament to Obama's green initiative, right? But Walgreens, always the champion of civil rights, pulled the planter off the shelf. Now you can only buy it online, at double the price. Then again, now you get the option of picking from "Happy Obama" and "Determined Obama," which isn't racist either but just sort of hilarious. Like the determined Obama would scare the kids or something.
