UK Cops Brutalize a Man Who Later Dies (VIDEO)

It ain't just American cops who abuse their power! Much like the New York police officer who shoved down a peaceful bike activist last year, the London cop in the video above takes down a man seemingly for doing nothing but minding his own business at last week's G20 protests. The difference is, the battered British citizen ended up dying later in the day.

Let's hope that London cop gets a much worse punishment than the New York officer, who was merely fired after a months-long internal investigation.

This is just awful his family is in my prayers. What is the appropriate punishment for the officer who unprovoked hit and shoved him? It is a dicey issue clearly he did not mean to kill him but if his actions led to this man's death should it matter?

kind of just shows a general disdain for policemen that turns my stomach. Most cops are good eggs that keep us safe.

Is that police officer in jail for life now? If not, there is no justice there.

Ian Tomlinson has a page on facebook. (The English are nuts for facebook.) Hasn't been taken down yet.

Maybe the British police will take down his facebook page in order to erase his very existence!
