Now that our Glorious Leader has expressed displeasure over the 20-year old trend of thugs wearing jeans so low you can see their boxers, local government ordinances are finally ready to take some action.

In Miami and other fashion-challenged areas (Milwakee, etc.) 15-20 young men have been charged with defying ordinances demanding they wear a belt with their sagging pants. Both side have equally valid points:

Mayor Masters frowned through Ms. Rousso’s testimony. He said cities should have the right to maintain social standards, just as they can dictate the height to which certain trees can grow. “I think society has the right to draw the line,” he said.

On Martin Luther King Boulevard on Wednesday, a shirtless young man with plaid boxers showing above his pants declined to talk about the style. But others standing in front of a complex of barracks-like apartments attacked the ordinance, calling it “stupid” and “a bad law.”

We'd find this funny if we thought that baggy pants were even on the top 20 list of "things that can be improved in our country's image" right now. As is, let teenagers wear their damn saggy jeans. We all have the right to look like an idiot in the constitution, I suppose.
