If you don't know the awesomeness of Charlie Brooker yet, shame on you. He's a couch-critic who has made a two wildly successful programs mocking British television with his acidic tongue: Screenswipe and Newswipe. And naturally, after dissecting The X Factor for the umpteenth time loses its luster, Brooker went on to bigger fish, across the pond. That's right: Get ready for a high-school beat down, American news stations!
I know the whole thing is a little long for America's attention span, but once he starts casting Fox News anchors in an Animal House-esque college-buddy movie, things really pick up. Seriously, Charlie Brooker FTW. His other video series (all amazing) can be found here.

Oh joy!! just what we need another Brit acting like an a**hole. We already have Simon Cowell thank you very much. The British tabloids and press have a worse rep than we do here in the US so tell Mr. Brooker to stay across the pond. Besides there is a enough negativity in the world today.
It's true that Glen Beck and Bill O'Reilly are an embarassment around the country and the world. Most decent upstanding Americans hate their hate-laced and twisted rhetoric. I think they are both mental cases, deranged and dangerous. They both have egos bigger than the universe - Bill O'Reilly says he has more influence on Americans than any Senator in Washington - even though he has a comparatively small audience of about 2 million, much lower at peak times and with targeted audiences. If he is so in demand with Americans, why does American Idol get 40 million viewers compared to his 1.8 million sometime viewers, although he does get the same old right wing fanatic lunatic audience tuning in over and over. He has virtually no objective, sensible, reasonable and unfanatical American viewers.
So I take it Woody that you conducted a poll of all 306,209,813 Americans, and they share your view?
I like O'Reilly and find it difficult to believe that he would utter such a comment about his "incredible influence on the American public" Beck is too hyper for my tastes. Not sure why alot of people torture themselves by watching Idol with the vitrolic Simon Cowell, the drug-addled Paula Abdul and the other two. Different strokes I guess?
