Michael Jackson's Stuff Just Even Creepier Than You'd Expect

Even celebrities are feeling the pinch of the recession, and the U.S. market crash extends as far as Neverland. That's right: Michael Jackson is auctioning off some of his creepier belongings at a public showing at Julian's. At least, we hope this is the worst of it, because honestly all of this stuff looks like a parody of what you'd expect to be at Michael Jackson's pedophilia den. ::Shudder::

Oh yeah. That's a real thing in Michael Jackson's house.

He must have kept his porn stash in that Crown Jewels chest or maybe he filled it with ice and kept his Jesus juice cold. One has to wonder what happened in his childhood to cause such a radical transformation mentally and more importantly physically from such a cute and talented singer to an effeminate alien with a penchant for underage boys.

That 1st painting always makes me laugh…Looks like Johnny Mathes starring in a costume drama…but the one with the children on the yellow brick road is chilling, a creepy almost Chinese social realism smeared with Hollywood touches.
I can't imagine anyone going to one of his concerts.

I feel sorry for Michael, always have. I still love his music, not gonna go see him in concert, but I still get out his cd's from time to time. Feel bad for the other boys too, so don't start!

i actually gave him the benefit of the doubt until i saw the video the english director made about 5 years ago. the one with him holding that child's hand and talking about sleeping in the same bed? that man-child is so out of touch with reality.

I'm glad this guy is going broke it is going to be a lot harder getting away with his "activities" when he doesn't have millions to bribe his victims families into silence.

Actually the preview was very interesting, worth the $20 entrance fee. (I didn't buy the $200 4-volume cataloge or the $50 single version.) But it wasn't creepy really, maybe all the little boy brass and iron statues, which were displayed outside along with signs from Neverland Ranch and go-carts, limos and other cars, (there was a Rolls limo inside-with doors open), fire truck etc. Lots of children's toys and his infactuation with child/childhood fantasy was very apparent, many tributes to Peter Pan and inscribed poetry by MJ himself, poetry about him and children escaping the perils and stresses of the world and escaping to some kind of celestial playground. His taste is furniture is certainly eclectic, from Baroque to Country French, although alot of the furniture is beyond gaudy, some downright tacky. Lots of paintings depicting MJ as a king in complete royal garb, some modern paintings done for MJ by MaCauley Caulkin and a painting of Brooke Shields. Lots of sparkling costumes and gloves surrounded a giant movie screen that constantly played scenes from MJ's most remarkable performances. And of course his awards. There were even dishes, plates, glasses, etc. All in all very interesting but nothing I would want except probably a little token just for the fun of it. So the sale is off and it all goes back to MJ…It was like a day at a museum, very educational…..just another fun day in LA. I might add there were remarkably few people there, parking lot practically empty. I talked to a few other people who were also surprised at the sparce attendance….

@Rhonda:

I have something for you Rhonda.

But you know that, don't you?

You've always known. It's inevitable. You think you have free will, that's what you keep saying.

Really?

That's why you keep coming back here, is it?

You cannot help it. Why do you resist?

Give in, it's so much easier.

You know what? What I care most is the fact that I like his music and the way it has made an impact on the music industry.

Every person makes mistakes and that's his own thing to deal with.
Each of us has our own issue to deal with. Peace out!!

@Anna Alfafara: Um…molesting children isn't his own mistake to "deal with". While, I love old music as much as the next gal, he is obviously severely disturbed and probably destroyed the childhood of many many kids. It's all funny "ha ha" now, but like 13 years ago it was severely F-ed up.

Michael Jackson Cancels Auction

Hands off that life-size stuffed giraffe!

A week before the contents of pop legend Michael Jackson’s Neverland estate were to be auctioned off, his production company has called the proceedings to a halt. The firm filed a suit in Los Angeles Superior Court claiming that some of Jackson’s things, like a carousel horse signed by Elizabeth Taylor, are “irreplaceable,” and that Jackson never agreed to sell them. The suit was dismissed, but the Beverly Hills auction house, Julien Auctions, has reached an agreement to not sell the items on April 22 as planned, and instead to leave them up on display through April 25. “I think we are going to have a beautiful museum someday for Michael,” Jackson’s spokesman told the Los Angeles Times. Jackson sold Neverland after being found not guilty of child molestation in 2005.

(Read it at Los Angeles Times)

Today's question. If you were 13, would you let Michael Jackson molest you for 5 million dollars?

(me, I'd close my eyes, pretend it was Janet, and take the money and run)
