Columbia professor David Buckner was so ashamed/nervous/drunk while appearing on Glenn Beck's Fox show yesterday afternoon that he completely passed the fuck out. Which is great for Beck's ratings, the same way that keeping ambulances outside of William Castle movies were great for ticket sales to The Tingler. Let's not pretend these two carnival barkers aren't exactly alike, and my analogy isn't the best ever.
On live air, it must be so awkward to have someone say "I'm going to pass out." Because what's the proper response to that? "Sorry?" "Sit down?" Certainly Glenn Beck's awkward attempt at shaking his hand wasn't the right response, but to be fair that's the closest Beck has gotten to another human's touch since he started working for Ailes. He still hasn't watched that hand yet.

I just happened to be watching at the time the Prof., fell out. He was explaining the collapse of our financial system into government treasuries and must have been so overcome by the specter of the US sinking into neo-fascism that he hit the floor.
I was feeling a bit faint myself as the reality of GW Bush the 43rd and Obama the 1st plunging the US and the World into financial anarchy is almost a certainty.
DTOM - Any government that is capable of giving you everything you need is also powerful enough to take away everything you have.
