Jamie Foxx Calls Himself Black Howard Stern, Stops Making Fun of Miley Cyrus

And here we thought Howard Stern was already trying to be the black Howard Stern? Neveryoumind: On his Syrius radio show last week, Jamie Foxx — who apparently has nothing better to do with his singing/acting/comedy career than pick on underage tweens — called out Miley Cyrus for uh…not doing enough crack and heroin? And then Jay Leno made him apologize.

You know, I was sort of behind Foxx until the apology. If you're going to be a raunchy comedian, no one should be off-limits. Then again, if you are a raunchy comedian trying to simultaneously straddle the role of "serious actor," then you have to watch it a little more closely. Paul Giamatti would never get away with that shit, so an insincere apology to Miley on The Tonight Show it is!

"No one should be off limits"? Sure, unless it's homosexuals and you'd be bashing that comic on this site. Do you seriously not remember SNL from two weeks ago where you were all pissy about Seth Rogen and Andy Samberg's gay Fast and Furious skit?

Please don't act like you think comedians have a right to make jokes about anything and anyone when you clearly have let it be known you think certain people and topics are off the table.

Jamie seems to be more of a black Imus.

Jamie Fox wanted Don Imus fired and threatened to Kick his ass. So, then why is it okay for Jamie Fox to have a radio show with hate speech. He didn\'t say it, but someone on his show called her a white b word. He also made fun of her gums. No one from the media has mentioned that someone on the show called her a white b word. That would be like the media never mentioning the nappy headed part that Imus said. A pair of white shock jocks on satelite radio were suspended when an unpaid guest said nasty words about Condaleeza Rice, so this is no different. If you were upset about Imus, then you should be upset about this. Th excuse that he is the black Howard Stern is stupid. After all Howard Stern originally was the new Don imus. Its just sad that Jamie Fox is allowed to say nasty things about underage white girls and stereotype african americans with tv shows like G\'s to gents. Just imagine the outrage if Don Imus acted out a transcript of an episode of G\'s to gents.

Great point, Robert. I didn't know about his stance on Imus. I'm not surprised though.
