Darryl Robinson, DR Mixologist, was found dead on Wednesday. He was 50 years old.
DR Mixologist, former host of Drink Up on the Cooking Channel, was famous for traveling the world creating signature cocktails and sharing the recipes with his fans.
Robinson was discovered lying face down on his bed, fully clothed after police got a call from a concerned friend. There were no signs of forced entry into his apartment or trauma, so his cause of death is not yet known at this time.
An autopsy has been scheduled to take place soon.
"At learning of the sad news, our thoughts go out to Darryl's family & friends," said a Cooking Channel spokesperson.
Robinson's assistant Monique shared the news on the DR Mixologist Facebook page saying that Robinson was "full of light and charisma."
News of Robinson's death comes just 5 days after Philip Seymour Hoffman's. Both will be greatly missed.
