Admitting You Have A Problem Is The First Step
And We Might Have A Problem

Here are the facts: The Hills is fake. It's possible that Heidi and Spencer have never even seen each other naked. Once Lauren grew out of her teenage insecurities, she became more boring than white window treatments. The west coast “office” of Teen Vogue is basically a set.

And yet, we love The Hills. And not just a little bit, and not ironically. We could take or leave all other basic and premium cable programming, but we could watch new episodes of The Hills every day. We haven’t made a Hills avatar yet, but we just might over Christmas break.

So with all the self-awareness that left us paralyzed in middle school, we bring you news of Lauren Conrad’s holiday gift giving guide on Flip.com.

Oh, by the by, Conde Nast owns Flip.com and Teen Vogue, where Lauren pretend-works.

“Hopefully Brody will get the hint and surprise LC with one of these gifts!” reads the press release we received. That’s like Herman Melville saying, hopefully Ahab won’t catch the white whale, thereby showing the utter futility of human existence. But we don’t care. Get her one of these great gifts, Brody!
