I still can't fathom the gay community's fascination with this closeted albino? Aside from that bulge in his pants - and I'm referring to his mother's wallet - I don't see the interest or fascination with this queen.

Clearly, like with in so many occupations, Anderson can't be out and keep his job. There is still a rash of closetedness in this country.
He isn't hypocrtical in the sense of dishing gays. I'm sure that he's more "out " than all of the Hollywood stars and people in business who hide their homosexuality.

Why do bloggers complain that Anderson isn't "out"? How much more OUT can he get? Everybody knows he's gay - he certainly doesn't try to hide it. If he was trying to hide the fact, he would show up at events with women as his dates.
His job on CNN, however, is not the forum for him to use to talk about being gay. Reporters are supposed to be objective.
Also,from what happened in Calif. with Prop 8, we know that there are still a lot of people that would not watch 360 if talked about being gay on his show. Look what happened to Thomas Roberts - he came out on AC's show and we haven't seen him since.

Carrie: How much more out can he get? Well, he could try showing up at events with his boyfriend instead of always alone. He could say he is gay. Instead he stays silent and has yet to acknowledge Julio Cesar.

BTW, I believe that Thomas Roberts said that he was not let go from CNN for coming out. Possible that it is illegal to let someone go because of their sexual orientation.

anon: If he is keeping the boyfriend a secret then why does everyone know the boyfriend's name, occupation, how long they've been together, seen pictures of them together, etc. Maybe Julio doesn't want to be in the public eye - it's his call.

The issue is Anderson not acknowleding his sexuality, not specifically his boyfriend. He won't say with a simple yes or no if he is gay.

He doesn't say explicitly yes or no, which everyone knows mean "yes" especially when coupled with his explanations for not discussing orientation and the fact he's marriage bait who's never been linked to a woman. He's never lied or bearded, which is a lot more than many gay celebrities and gay newscasters.

He only attracted the big fuss around 2004, and then could have easily been a brief flash in the pan. And he thanked Julio years ago in his book. It's far from a Jodie Foster situation.

Thomas Roberts may not have been fired from CNN for coming out, but the fact remains he has no television career now. By the way, in television it's easy for them to get rid of you for sexuality while calling it something else. Wait a little period then say they're "taking it in a new direction" that will unfortunately mean you have to be let go.

What's the point of coming out when he enjoys the same things any gay man enjoys? That's just not about the boy-toys but also a slew of stuff that only gay men wants. It is his life. He is very much in his comfort zone and he's happy with it.

I certainly would be happy too if I lead my life as a CNN honcho, travel the world in Zegna's anytime courtesy of Hublot's and what-have-you's-of-AC's. Top that with being single! Why then would I need to be out? May be I envy him.

Guess we enjoy outing him for our individual agenda which unfortunately is different from his.
