Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt Actually DO Give Money Away

In 2006, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie each donated more than $4 million to their own Jolie Pitt Foundation, which handed out more than $2.3 million in its first year. One million dollars went to both Doctors Without Borders and to the Global AIDS Alliance.

Exactly zero dollars went toward a cult or one of its programs.

Meanwhile, between People's $4.1 million, British OK! Hello!'s $3.5 million, and other international sales of baby Shiloh's first photos, the Jolie-Pitts racked up some $10 million from selling their daughter's pics in '06, all of which was all supposed to go to a single undisclosed charity. Either that charity wasn't their own, or it seems like a few pennies have gone missing.

How do you know exactly how much was made from the sale of the pictures, and British OK did not publish the pictures, Hello magazine did. You can't even get the most basic available information right and yet you are speculating on dollar amounts that were never disclosed by either the magazines or the Pitts. By the way, where is the supposed $6m paid to JLO and Marc Anthony going, do you even care?

I am far from being fans of Brangelina but since I am not giving money away personally to charity, I can't knock them. They don't have to give anyhing away and they do far more than most celebrities. They also have four children with two more on the way. Hopefully they spend their other dollars on their children's futures.

People magazine was responsible for North America sales and print and Hello was for the UK. They did not get paid twice.
